belonged to Mauritius Shipping Corporation Ltd. MSCL
Coraline Ship Agency Ltd has been entrusted, since
then, with all the operational / commercial activities.
Activities
Being
based at Port Louis, MSCL
Coraline Ship Agency Ltd is responsible
for the booking of cargo/passengers for both MSCL
vessels, Mauritius
Pride and Mauritius
Trochetia, which link the port
in the Mascarene Islands. As
a shipping agent, it undertakes all necessary formalities/procedures
with regards to berthing and sailing of vessels. MSCL
Coraline Ship Agency Ltd collects
and effects all payments in favour of MSCL. The agency
services are also extended to other vessels, mostly
tankers, bulk cement carriers, cruisers, LPG tankers
and casual callers.

Objectives
As a port agency provider, MSCL Coraline Ship Agency Ltd will

The agency activities are carried out
by a dynamic and competent group of personnel in different
sections namely, operations (freight/passenger), accounting
and support services.

tough /tight schedules. MSCL
Coraline Ship Agency Ltd provides training both in-house and outside to specific
jobholders in particular required fields. The Company

| The
m/s “MAURITIUS PRIDE”
is a multipurpose vessel carrying container, break
bulk, petroleum products as well as livestock,,
with a passenger capacity of 268 seats.
The ship is entirely air-conditioned and is fully
equipped as far as security at sea is concerned.
She abides by international laws for maritime
navigation. She
accommodates 248 passengers in
aircraft type seats in 8 different sections
named A,B,C,D,E,F,G and H . Seated passengers
share common shower and toilet.
Passengers in this class benefit from individual
lockers for valuable objects/personal effects.
All sections are equipped with a TV set. |

She
performs 3 to 4 voyages to Rodrigues per month and 4 to 5 voyages to Reunion
Island per month.
She sails to Agalega every six month and occasionally performs mini-cruises round off the Island
of Mauritius. |

Duration
of each leg:
Mauritius to Reunion: 10 to 12 hours. Same for the return leg
Mauritius
to Rodrigues: 30 to 36 hours.
The Return leg is much faster: 24 to 26 hours. |

The
above vessel is passenger-cargo ship with a passenger
capacity of 112 seats in cabins only. There are
4 categories of cabins: |

Twin
berth cabins with 2 super imposed beds, a wash
basin, 2 chairs and a desk. Second class passengers
have access to six common showers and five toilets.
Meals are served in the cafeteria. Prices are
inclusive of main dishes. |
These
cabins are twin berth cabins with 2 superimposed
beds with private sanitary facilities. The furniture
includes a sofa, a wardrobe, a desk and a chair.
Meals are served in the dining hall. |

De Luxe cabins are equipped with private bathroom/toilet.
They are available with either twin beds or double
beds. Furniture of the SDL cabins are: a sofa,

sofa, chair and desk and a wardrobe.
